Bernardus Lodge & Spa is a gorgeous wine country retreat nestled in the heart of Carmel Valley. The spa at this resort focuses on customized services and mindful, holistic treatments. Guests have full use of the warming pool, dry sauna, and eucalyptus steam room during their visit. The onsite restaurant, Lucia Restaurant & Bar, serves farm-to-table cuisine carefully prepared with ingredients from the retreat’s own gardens. Lucia serves wine cultivated from the vineyards that stretch across this 28-acre estate. 

The sprawling, sunny Carmel Valley Ranch offers golf, spa, and dining escapes. Designed by Pete Dye, the onsite golf facility features a challenging bentgrass course, top-of-the-line carts, and a stone patio for relaxing after a round. Carmel Valley has several tasting rooms in its historic village district and at many of the area vineyards. Folktale Winery & Vineyard has a whimsical, romantic restaurant and tasting area on the vineyard grounds. The Parsonage Winery Tasting Room, named one of the must-see wineries in Carmel Valley, offers wine flights on a charming garden patio. 

This community is home to some of the most gorgeous, pristine natural beauty in coastal California. Garland Ranch Regional Park spans from the banks of the Carmel River to the top of the Santa Lucia highlands. The trails in this park are ideal for hiking and horseback riding. 

Located in Carmel Valley Village, the Carmel Valley Community Park is a picturesque green park with rolling hills, plenty of mature trees, and great spots to picnic. The Carmel Valley Community Youth Center is located nearby and has a community pool and playground area.
